We like to welcome our new GCO / WKU national representatives of Luxembourg, Mr. Uwe Kock and Mr. Ralf Schüssler.
Both representing the Amateur and Professional parts GCO/WKU in the following disciplines: Pointfighting, Lightcontact, Karate Kumite, Fullcontact, Kickboxing, MMA, Thaiboxing, Forms.
We are proud to have the country Luxembourg in our GCO / WKU community as a new country. The GCO / WKU wishes Mr.Kock and Mr. Schüssler a successful start and a great future in our organization.

During preparations for the fantastic World Championship in Crete, GCO/WKU World President Klaus Nonnemacher met the greece President Stelios Politis After the successful meeting, Klaus Nonnenmacher was on an another seminar in Zen Martial Arts School in Athens (Greece Summer Camp).
The aim of the Greek national team is to start with a total of 200 man strong team in Crete.
On the 30th June 2013 - 7th July 2013, there will be another one-week intensive seminar in the near of Athens. more information coming in following weeks. Your WKU team

Kazakhstan is new member of GCO / WKU and will be represented by Alibek Aimukhametov and Anuar Aimukhametov. Alibek and Anuar are located at the city of Almaty, in the south of Kazakhstan. Both representing WKU / GCO Amateur and Professional Combat Sports in the disciplines of Pointfighting, Lightcontact, Karate Kumite, Fullcontact, Kickboxing, MMA, Thaiboxing, Forms. GCO / WKU are proud to be represented in combat sports in this important central asian country. Kazakhstan has a long tradition in full-contact Kickboxing, Boxing and MMA. In Kazakhstan, combat sports in general is considered as national sports, with strong and lively links within the entire society. We wish Alibek and Anuar good look, from all the world headquarters and all GCO / WKU members. Newsletter April 2013 Wanning - Island of Hainan - China An agreement for the 2014 WKU World Championships has been signed A WKU presidential delegation visited Members of the People‘s Government of Wanning - China to sign an agreement for the 2014 WKU “China Wanning Cup” Kickboxing World Championships, held between 12th August to 18th August 2014 at Wanning - Island of Hainan - China. Within a formal ceremony and press conference WKU World President, Mr. Klaus Nonnemacher and the Mayor of the City of Wanning - China, Mr. Meiwen Zhang signed an agreement to host the WKU combat sports world championships of amateurs, followed up by a professional combat sports fight night. The City of Wanning is located at the tropical island of Hainan, China. The region of Wanning, Wanning Shenzhou Peninsula, is a superb infrastructured tourist destination, offering a wide choice of attractions and of course beautiful beaches, too. Wanning offers high class hotels and tourist resorts, water sports facilities, beautiful tropical botanical gardens, ancient Buddhist sites and temples. The City of Wanning is perfectly connected to the international Airports in Haikou and Sanya by new motorways and by a high speed train network. The new indoor sport facilities at "Wanning Middle School Attached to Beijing Normal University" will provide excellent conditions to held the 2014 WKU World Championships tournament. On the 10th of March, WKU President Master Klaus Nonnemacher returned toTralee in the South west of Ireland to perform a special training course in Kickboxing. This was the second time that the eight time world champion returned to the South West Taekwon-Do Centre which is run by Irish United Taekwon-Do Federation president Master Don Dalton. The club was celebrating the 30th anniversary of its foundation in the state of the art full time centre. The course was attended by more than 40 practitioners who turned up for the five hour session despite the fact that it was Mother's Day. The tired students were eletated to have the oppertunity to train under such a famous martial artist they expressed their desire to have the WKU President return again next year. Many members also expressed their intention to travel to the world championships in Greece in October. The IUTF would like to express their Apache Fight Night
